Reason: Insufficient live player activity to generate meaningful signals
Activation Condition: ≥ N active wallets and sustained Gc circulation
Purpose
This module extends the existing Gc valuation and issuance displays by adding circulation, usage, and impact telemetry.
The goal is to answer a single question that static balances cannot:
Is Gc functioning as a living medium of exchange inside the holon?
These metrics are not required at launch. They become meaningful only once multiple players are earning and spending Gc. Until then, this module remains dormant by design.
Design Principles
- No speculative data
- Metrics activate only when sufficient data exists
- “No data” placeholders are acceptable but undesirable at early stages
- Account-based, not coin-based
- Gc is tracked via balances and transactions
- No UTXO-style coin tracking required for v1
- Interpretive but auditable
- All metrics derive from transaction logs and balance snapshots
- No survey data or self-reporting required
- Economic, not gamified
- Metrics mirror real-world monetary telemetry (velocity, dormancy, concentration)
- Names favor clarity over jargon

1. Gc Issued (Supply Flow)
Definitions
- Gc_Issued_TTM – total Gc minted in the last 12 months
- Gc_Issued_AllTime – cumulative Gc minted since holon inception

2. Gc Spent (Usage Flow)
Definitions
- Gc_Spent_TTM – total Gc spent in the last 12 months

Purpose
Distinguishes:
- minted-but-unused capacity
vs - realized economic activity
3. Gc Circulation Rate (Velocity Proxy)
Definition
A rolling-period proxy for monetary velocity.
Formula (period T, default = 30 days)

Where:
- Avg_Gc_Balance_T = mean of daily total balances across the holon during T
Interpretation
- < 0.5 → stagnant or thin economy
- ~1.0 → healthy turnover
- 2.0 → dense, active exchange

4. Median Gc Hold Time
Definition
Median number of days Gc remains in wallets before being spent.
Computation
- Use FIFO approximation at the wallet level
- Track inflow timestamps
- Compute holding duration for each spent unit
- Publish median (and optionally p90)
Purpose
Complements circulation rate by revealing how long value sits idle.
5. Dormant Gc Supply
Definition
Percentage of total Gc balance that has not moved in N days.

Purpose
Identifies hoarding, friction, or lack of spend opportunities.
6. Active Wallet Penetration
Definition
Active_Wallets_30D / Total_Registered_Wallets
Purpose
Shows whether the Gc economy is:
- broad-based
or - concentrated among a few actors
7. Spend Concentration
Definition
Share of total Gc spend accounted for by the top N wallets (default N = 10).
Purpose
Detects whether circulation reflects:
- network exchange
or - hub-and-spoke behavior
PtP Capacity Metrics (Gc Impact Layer)
These metrics measure realized economic capacity, not income.
8. PtP Capacity Injected (USD-Equivalent)

Interpretation
Total value of goods and services enabled via Gc.
9. Capacity per Capita

Relationship to Existing Economic Metrics
These metrics do not modify:
- median income
- average income
- unemployment
Instead, they feed a parallel construct:
Effective Living Wage Coverage (Augmented)

(PerCapita_Income + Capacity_per_Capita) / Living_Wage_Annual
This expresses:
- baseline economic capacity
- plus PtP-enabled capacity
- without claiming wages increased
Activation Rules
This module should remain collapsed or hidden until:
- ≥ 10 active wallets in a 30-day window
- ≥ 100 Gc spent within the same window
Exact thresholds are configurable.
Non-Goals (Explicitly Out of Scope for v1)
- Individual income adjustment
- Median income modification
- Displacement vs substitution modeling
- Coin-level hop tracking
- Behavioral surveys
These may be introduced in future research modules.
Summary
This module completes the Holon Pulse economic picture by adding movement, usage, and impact to static valuation.
When activated, it allows holons to observe:
- whether Gc circulates
- how broadly it is used
- and whether it meaningfully expands local capacity
Until sufficient activity exists, it remains intentionally dormant.
