What The Network Demands From Its Players

There is one thing (so far) that the Play the Planet Network demands of its players. It is the thing that drives the Virtue Engine, and that is, Community Ratings.

Without Community Ratings, there is no Virtue Engine. There can’t be. Every quest-driven social interaction requires both a rating and an answering rating. This is the means by which player trustworthiness and social credit are created. If we don’t have a robust system that elevates our most selfless members, then the Virtue Engine simply will not function.

Thus, the one thing we absolutely need from all of our players is simple: When you complete an act of service quest, rate the interaction. When someone performs an act of service for you, rate that interaction. It may seem like a small thing but it is literally the fuel that powers the Virtue Engine.
